Welcome to the Conscious burrito, and dear reader be warned, this information could be transforming to your current paradigm!

This is a daily burrito of consciousness based upon the ever evolving and moving patterns of the Dreamspell Mayan calendar. It is based on the daily energies of the ancient Mayan's sacred calendar; the Tzolkin (Zol-keen). This cycle of time is a 260-day cycle that moves independently of the calendar that we normally follow known as the Gregorian/Catholic calendar. Yes, its only 260 days, and it NOT the same as our yearly calendar. It does not attempt to match up with the yearly calendar at all. Its galactic in origin, so why should it? This cycle has been counted since 3100 BC and tracks many patterns and cycles of time. If you have ever tried to manage your own time, you know it to be a juggling act. There are SO MANY things to do and people to see. Well, the Tzolkin, is a way to connect with tasty archetypal cycles, and creative patterns that interweave in our lives.

Why is it called a CONSCIOUS BURRITO? Because each day is composed of a number of elements of consciousness that when you put them all together into a bundle and you have a whole new way of interacting with the world. It's like wrapping up the most scrumptious ingredients into a huge galactic tortilla and then biting into this wondrous thing we call life!

Here's essentially how the burritos are put together:
You take the chicken, cheese, then the lettuce, and a healthy portion of galactic salsa…

The calendar is based on two essential cycles, of 13 and 20. These are thirteen steps of any creative process called tones, and twenty mythological archetypes called tribes that reflect the evolutionary process of humanity. They interlace on a day-to-day basis creating a 'signature'. It is called a signature because these energies have unique wave pattern signatures similar to the signature that an ultraviolet wave, or the musical note A flat has. And that combined signature is specific for each day.

CYCLE OF 13
The Cycle of 13-thirteen days is called a WAVESPELL and it describes the elements and process of any creative process. Each element of this process is called a TONE, similar to that of musical notes in a scale. The key to the wavespell is that the tribes affect this process of creation to continuously recreate the moments of our lives archetypally so we can learn from and grow wiser in our daily lives. The elements of the 13-day cycle are 'governed' by the 1st day's tribe or the archetype of the MAGNETIC day of the wavespell. The word magnetic is simply the name for the first day of the wavespell or the number one. As the days of the wavespell progress, each of the archetypes affects each of the TONES of the creative process in a slightly different way. Every 13 days the wavespell starts over, but you will find that the wavespell now has a new managing editor or governor.

CYCLE OF 20
The second essential elements are the archetypes of the 20 tribes. There are 20 tribes and they are grouped into one of four colors, each representing a cardinal direction red white blue or yellow. The 20 tribes follow the evolution of the human condition form the first moment of birth (Red Dragon) to the final step into the enlightened mind (Yellow Sun). These tribes cycle through the colors in this pattern:
Red (for East)
White (for North)
Blue (for West)
Yellow (for South)

And the tribes follow this progression:

Skywalker

Whew, this stuff is crazy complicated? Well of course it is Silly it's the way the universe works! I never said this was going to be easy, but I guarantee it will be fun!

THE INTERACTION OF THE CYCLES

So, we have these two cycles, one of creation, and one of evolution. They interlace on a day-to-day basis creating a 'SIGNATURE' like a wave pattern, which is specific for every day. The elements of the SIGNATURE are the ingredients of the conscious burrito. So the monkey rolls the burrito, carefully sautéing the archetype/tribe with the tone of the creative process. Eventually each archetype experiences each aspect of the creative process(TONE) and then the whole Tzolkin is complete, and starts over again stuffed full of all the experiences of the tones and the tribes. There are so many aspects of the world interacting simultaneously, its mind boggling to even begin to consider how the beauty of nature unfolds. Since the cycles are two different sizes (13 & 20) it takes a total of 260 days for each tone to influence each tribe. 260 days is about nine months, which is the human gestation period. Ooooh, galactic and human cycles, yummy!

You may notice that as you read them in your daily life either at the beginning of the day or the end, or days later, that there may be an uncanny matching up of archetypes and your experience. I have on thing to say to that… SYNCHRONY!
It's everywhere, like air, or indoor/outdoor carpeting! If you find it hard to believe, just take notes every day for twenty days about the freaky stuff that happens to you that align with synchrony, and you will have all the evidence you need.
